They just can't and probably will never produce a good enterprise firewall. The three solutions we use the most are, Sophos XG, Sonicwall and PFSense. Really comes down to application, price and best fit.Ubiquiti doesn't make any APs with an internal directional antenna. They have a single model that accepts external antennas, the UAP-AC-M. There is a single "official" directional antenna for it, that IIRC is 120 degress for 2.4GHz and 90 degrees for 5GHz. There isn't anything preventing you from acquiring a third-party antenna to use with that AP.According to a Ubiquiti employee's post on the Ubiquiti forums, the UCG has a 4-core Cortex-A53 processor; the UX also uses a Cortex-A53 but it only has two cores. Ubiquiti appears to invest more energy into new products that no serious organization cares about over getting their core product offerings manufactured at scale to meet demand.
