Pal can be played like a DPS class that also happens to support their allies without any input from the player whatsoever (well almost, you still want to aim Godsent Law under your friends' feet but that's more of an advanced tip). Obviously Surging for huge damage is fun, plus the class is pretty mobile and the animations and sounds are, subjectively, pretty nice.

Blade and shadow are both fun and enjoyable classes that are decent in their own right and very satisfying to use your combos. Sorceress is there to nuke things from afar. Gunlancer is very tanky and a great balance in consideration of the warrior class. Scrapper is a well balanced class.I'm probably biased but shadow hunter is some of the most fun I've had in a long time. I went from Berserker to Soulfist. I may MVP way more on Berserker but Soulfist is so damn fun and satisfying, gives off such a strong Dragonball vibe. Spirit bomb, martial arts, kamehameha, power ups similar to Super Saiyan..
